My 2013

Being away from my family and friends was the hardest trial I had to face this year. In the past years it was just all à plan to move here in Florida. Next thing I knew I was granted with my immigrant visa.

New culture, new places, new battles. No familiar faces,it was scary! Everything felt like it all happened in a snap. That moment saying good bye during my last day was heart breaking.I was traveling alone and the long flight made me realize more how important the people I left matter to me. (If only I could tag them all along with me)

After à month, I got à job. Discovered and learned new things. Met à lot of interesting people. Heartaches and disappointments were along the way but it was always replaced with better opportunities.

I can say that I have learned to know more about myself this year, my strengths and weaknesses. I was able to appreciate what is given and to be more patient when I dont get things the way I want them to be. I have learned that you dont need to know the reasons you just have to keep the faith, move forward and enjoy the journey. It was à lot of adjusting, but it definetely helped me become who I want to be.
(Im still à work in progress)

Thank You for everybody who believed in me.
I am béyond blessed to have all of you!

2013, you made me stronger, thank you.

Day 1: Illinois

I have always wanted to experience White Christmas. Last year because of work wé were not able to do something special and this year Im so glad it worked out perfectly well despite my husband's crazy schedule. Flew first class which made the trip less stressful. I have issues with claustraphobia and motion sickness. Breakfast was served, muffins were my fave! Nothing really extra special happened besides checking in at the hotel, seeing family and getting groceries

Your style

I get asked all the time what my take on style is. I wear whatever feels comfortable for me, designer label or a $5 top, whatever looks appealing to me! I dont particularly care about faux pas.

I always try my best to put a personal touch to my outfits. Im into colors and prints, cant take that away from me. I have certain wardrobe pieces that boost my confidence and on lazy days I love a pair of flip flops.

Pièce of advice: Let your style speak up for you! Just be yourself and dont be afraid to explore

Spring Preview

I have been MIA, crazy busy with all the holiday prep. Flying to Chicago so I am making sure that I am ready for the snow! Im looking forward to my White Christmas!

Wanted to show you my top picks for this coming Spring collection from these designers. Makes me very excited for next year!

P.S
Yes I have expensive taste, designer labels are always classic. They never go out of style, as I get older I want to invest more on designer pieces. (This entails à lot of saving and working hard). I end up not buying though when being frugal strikes! You have to be à smart buyer nowadays. So for now I will lust over these.

Art Basel Miami

Art was just all over Miami. I love being surrounded by créative people, its where I draw my inspiration from. My fave part: Street Art!
I have video clips from the event but not actual pictures, I got really distracted! It was à 50 minute drive, very worth it.
Congratulations to all the participants, you all have an amazing talent and thank you for sharing them to us.
Looking forward to next year's event and will try my best to visit the galleries.

Last month of the year

Still cant believe that 2014 is right around the corner. There is still à lot coming for this month for me. It was hubby's birthday, then our wedding anniversary. Hé had work so wé havent celebrated yet. The view is from one of job sites, wé were on a roof top.

Felt badly though that I said no to à Macys pull out today :/ (Schedule conflict)
Had à styling event that got postponed too.

Looking forward to Art Basel (Saturday) then crazy excited about the fact that wé will be in Chicago, didnt get to go last year because of work. Hopefully, hubby gets to fly with us the same day. (His schedule is crazier) Tickets were purchased and hôtels were booked, weather is going to be crazy cold (at least for me) BUNDLE-ING UP thats for sure! While I am thinking over these things Im sipping my hot cocoa, and reading my Harper's Bazaar.

P.S
Working on more outfit videos and outfit posts.
Selfie for now!
